Chapter 1: Unboxing & Inspection — A New Recruit Joins the Ranks
Welcoming a new warrior requires a correct and careful first step.
Unbox with Care:
Open the package in a well-lit area on a clean surface. It is recommended to carefully cut the tape with a tool rather than tearing it open forcefully, to avoid scratching the outer box or internal packaging. Keep all boxes, blister inserts, and accessories—this is crucial for future transport, resale, or simply for a perfect collecting experience.
Acclimatization:
If the collectible has been shipped through extreme temperatures (such as winter cold or summer heat), let it rest at room temperature for a few hours after unboxing. This allows the materials—especially plastic and painted surfaces—to stabilize and adjust to the new environment, reducing potential risks caused by thermal expansion and contraction.
Thorough Inspection:
Wear the included cotton gloves or use a clean, soft cloth to gently pick up the figure. Under good lighting, carefully examine the paintwork, joint tightness, and all accessories. Identifying any issues at this stage makes it easier to communicate with your supplier promptly.
