Chapter 3: Deep Cleaning & Maintenance — Field Repairs
Even with meticulous care, some maintenance may be needed over time.

Loose Joints:
This is a common issue with articulated figures. For ball joints, apply a very small amount (using the tip of a toothpick) of model-specific joint tightening adhesive (such as the "non-flow" version of Tamiya Extra Thin Cement) or clear nail polish to the joint ball. Allow it to dry completely before reassembly to increase friction. Proceed with extreme caution—less is more.

Paint Maintenance:
Never wipe directly with any cleaning agent. For stubborn stains, gently dab with a cotton swab slightly dampened with water, then immediately absorb moisture with a dry swab. For ordinary dust, using a blower bulb or a soft brush is the safest option.

Long-Term Storage:
If long-term storage is needed, place the figure back into its original blister insert, ensuring no parts press or rub against each other. Include a desiccant packet and store the box in a cool, dry place.
