Been working on a handmade soft goods cape for one of my 1/18 scale figures and wanted to get some feedback before I take it any further. The main challenge has been keeping it thin enough to look right at this scale without making it hang like a flat sheet. I’m also trying to keep the shoulder fit close to the body while leaving enough clearance for the head, arms, and any gear on the figure. It’s still a WIP, but I’m liking the softer silhouette compared with a rigid plastic cape so far. For anyone who makes custom figures or soft goods accessories: would you go for a more natural drape, or add a subtle wire edge for stronger poses? Any thoughts on the cape length, fabric weight, or overall proportions would be appreciated.
